A very Happy Chinese New year celebration to all from the team in EcoKnights and we wish everyone a prosperous year ahead as we usher in the Year of the Dog.
Meanwhile, January has really kept us on our toes as we roll out our programs and activities this year.
First up, we have just announced our series of Zero Kitchen Waste workshop series where every month, the public can sign up for any of our workshops from backyard composting to making your own effective microbes. So don’t forget to sign up today and start your journal to sustainable living.
We are also in the midst of preparing for our first Symposium of the year titled “A Symposium on Sustainable Mining Development and Practices”. A collaborative engagement with University Malaya and Waseda University the symposium will share latest findings and information from academicians, NGOs, and even the mining companies on innovations and development of sustainable practices in the mining industry. We will also be presenting a paper revealing our social perception survey of Malaysians on mining in the country. So head to this link to sign up for the symposium today.
Meanwhile, as we focus on delivering quality environmental services to the public, our organization is currently fundraising through a strategic CSR initiative Tanamera Tropical Spa Products. With every purchase of a Tanamera Hearts, you will be able to support our efforts and at the same time enjoy the wonderful aromatic experience of Tanamera’s aromatherapy on-the-go featuring natural essential oils like kafir lime, lemongrass and lavender. It means a lot to us to raise the funds we need and we hope that you can support us through the purchase of Tanamera Hearts which is available for sale in our office or at the Tanamera outlet in Starling Mall.
Have a great February and oh yes, if you’re going to be near our office anytime soon, don’t forget to drop your recyclables off in our I-Cycle Global system. As you know, we provide you with this service 24/7 and hope to encourage you to minimize your waste from going to the landfill.
