7 August 2018, Kuantan, Pahang – On 4th and 5th of August 2018, Nissan Nurtures Nature Programme has yet again successfully completed another episode of community engagement at Kuantan branch of Edaran Tan Chong Motor. The engagement featured a series of fun and engaging eco-friendly activities such as:

     I.        Eco Talk by Emirul Redzuan of EcoKnights on “Lifestyle and Habit”

   II.        DIY self-watering system using recycled plastic water bottles

The objective of the DIY self-watering system workshop is to teach the public an easy and convenient way for planting and to instill the habit of recycling in them. This workshop teaches the public on how to plant herbs in recycled plastic bottles. Edaran Tan Chong Motor has fully sponsored all the recycled plastic bottles needed throughout the workshop and also the three types of herbs used for planting – oregano, sweet basil and lemon balm. There were 75 of Nissan’s customers and their families who participated in this workshop.

It was indeed overwhelming to see the public joining hands in creating positive and meaningful changes to the environment and communities.
