16th February 2019 (Saturday) – EcoKnights team conducted a garden maintenance work at Rumah Panjang Ikan Emas with the help of 10 Starbucks Malaysia volunteers and the local residents.

The maintenance began with a briefing given by Mr. Ahmad, the President of Rumah Panjang Ikan Emas, followed by weeding and removal of unwanted creepers in the garden. Flooding in the garden during the rainy season has also caused a lot of plants died soaking in the water.

In general, garden maintenance is a great effort to enhance the restoration of Kerayong River in support of the River of Life Public Outreach Programme (ROLPOP) and at the same time promote volunteerism among local community and youths.
