27th January 2019, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail – Plastic bottle is the most underrated sources in the world. Public usually sees it as a cause of pollution to our environment. However, more than 30 people think otherwise. An upcycling workshop organised by EcoKnights teaches them on how to turn their plastic waste into a self-watering plant. This workshop was conducted in conjunction with Starbucks Green Outreach Programme which was held monthly.

EcoKnights Sustainability Communication Officer, Wei Rong, teaches step by step on how to create their own system. All participants were given a chance to select some of the available herbs such as mint, oregano and sweet basil. After the workshop, the participants were taking group photos and they brought back their plant.
