On the 23rd December 2017, EcoKnights together with ERE Consulting Group participated in the KL Car Free Morning at Dataran DBKL 1 to promote awareness on the ‘Klang Learning Engagement and Action for River’ (KLEAR) programme to the public. As KLEAR targets to educate and engage Malaysians to maintain the rivers through proper waste management, both EcoKnights and ERE Consulting Group officers organized simple workshops on converting used cooking oil into soaps and candles. 24 participants from the public joined and tried their hands in making the soaps and candles. Take a sneak peak at the video of the recycled cooking oil workshop here.
