23rd February 2019, TTDI – The first Zero Kitchen Waste workshop of 2019 was conducted at the EcoKnights office. During the session, 7 participants learned how to reduce their food waste by making Eco Enzyme out of it.
The participants were very excited to learn more about reducing their food waste. They learned and made two samples of Eco Enzyme from fruit peels and vegetable residues respectively. After a few months, the end product can be used for different purposes such as household cleaning agent, insect repellent, and plant fertiliser.
