The Program Director of EcoKnights, Fadly Bakhtiar has been invited for an interview with Traxx FM through the Face to Face segment which is held every Thursdays from 11:15am – 11:45am. 

Face to Face is a segment where an in-depth discussion about trending issues and news is held. This particular interview is between Fadly Bakhtiar and Kong Eu, Traxx FM’s host and their topic of discussion is on the new approach for KL Eco Film Festival (KLEFF) as well as Earth Day 2020.

As the Festival Director for KLEFF, an international film festival that has been running for 13 consecutive years, it is Fadly’s great responsibility to ensure the festival goes well every year. Therefore, other alternatives must be carried out in order to run the festival.

The theme for this year’s Earth Day is ‘Climate Action’ so everyone is required to bring force in order to make a difference towards climate change.

On the other hand, in regards to the current situation, Fadly has decided to run KLEFF digitally and create a virtual screening platform called ‘KLEFFlix’ which was launched on the same day as Earth Day. KLEFFlix will be screening environment related films and documentaries. 

The interview wrapped up well as Fadly mentioned all the other initiatives offered by EcoKnights to the public during the MCO season. Although everyone is instructed to stay at home to reduce and avoid the spread of virus, there are still other methods to live sustainably.
