Friday, 14th September 2018 – As one of the efforts under the River of Life Public Outreach Programme the EcoKnights team together with volunteers from Vanke Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd got their hands dirty and successfully planted twenty fruit trees alongside the riverbank of Sungai Bunus Retention Pond. Belimbing Buluh known for growing in rich moist and well-drained soil was planted together with Sweet Cherry, which also requires abundance of sun and a well-drained soil. A mudball making workshop was also conducted for the volunteers and the mudballs were later released into the Bunus River at the end of the session. It was a fruitful session indeed!
