A pledge board for the participants <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe main aim of the campaign was to raise funds for Phase Two of Project H2O Build for Air Kuning Water Supply, in which Aveda, Build for Tomorrow and EcoKnights will help to install water filtration systems for the Temuan Orang Asal Community of Air Kuning, Shah Alam. The completion of the installation of the respective water filtration systems will eventually help provide the Temuan community \u2013 a population of 86 people, clean water in the long run. Alternatively, the campaign was also part of Project H2O\u2019s efforts to increase public awareness of the importance of clean water as a necessity and basic human right and how it is still a huge recurring problem for marginalized communities especially in Malaysia, as a developing nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aveda hosted two main events in conjunction with the fundraising campaign; a Charity Cut-A-Thon held on Friday at the Aveda Flagship Outlet and the Charity Yoga4Water held on all three days consecutively at the entrance of Pavilion Residence respectively. There were hairstylists from six different Aveda selected hair salons that took part in the former event. For the latter Yoga4Water event, well-known and dedicated yoga instructors, Atilia Haron, Robyn Lau and Lay Gaik took charge for each respective day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
