On 21st Dec (Tuesday) morning, EcoKnights’ team departed to Tadom hill. However, the high-depth water in flooded sections has made the visit challenging as vehicles are not able to enter. “In my personal experience, this is the first time witnessing such a severe flood situation. This is a disaster and we need all the support we can get from the public to go through this together ” said Fadly Bakhtiar, Program Director of EcoKnights. Hence, under our flagship program, Project BUMI, EcoKnights have created the Emergency Flood Relief Fundraising platform to procure essential necessities such as sanitation kits, water filter kits and food supplies. EcoKnights will be mobilizing this emergency fund to support the underprivileged communities in Bukit Tadom in hopes to alleviate the flood impacts.
