20th June 2019 (Thursday) – In conjunction with World Environment Day, EcoKnights’ Programme Director, Mr. Fadly Bakhtiar had been invited by Siemens Healthineers to give a talk on Hari Raya Celebration at Eastin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The audiences were estimated to be around 100 people that mainly comprised of Siemens Healthineers staff. The topic was Today’s Special - “Say No to Plastic”. Through the talk, the audience were briefed on the impacts of unsustainable consumption and production of plastic that lead to the various environmental issues.

Besides that, the Knights were given a golden opportunity to set up a booth to promote EcoKnights as a non-governmental organization and also Gamuda Parks Ranger (GParks) Programs. Besides that, some sustainable products like soaps that were made using used cooking oil, bamboo, stainless steel straws, and many other things had been sold at the booth to raise some funds. EcoKnights would like to express the gratitude to Siemens Healthineers for the invitation and we look forward for more collaboration in the future.
