Apart from the cleaning and painting, participants had a fruitful day of enrichment as they learnt how to turn seemingly “useless waste” into useful household products through workshops conducted by EcoKnights. Said workshops include DIY Soap-making from used cooking oil, Homemade Eco-Enzyme Cleaning Agent, and Garbage to Garden Composting workshops. More than 8 litres of used cooking oil and 2kg of fruit peels had been successfully repurposed through the workshops today.
