EcoKnights River Explorer Program Makes Learning Come Alive with the Children from PPR 1Razak Mansion

Kuala Lumpur, 26th November 2018 – After a successful program in August, the EcoKnights River Explorer Program returns to urban rivers in the Klang Valley, this time, benefitting children who live in PPR 1Razak Mansion. Recognized by parents and donors as an inclusive, fun and informative environmental education program for children aged between 4 and 12 years old, the program today attracted 12 children who live near Sungai Kerayong in Kuala Lumpur.

EcoKnights officer Emirul Redzuan said, “Our passion really lies in experiential education- which is a real differentiator for what our programs offer – it’s not just talks and watching videos but real-life learning and that’s backed by our dedicated officers.”

Founder and president of EcoKnights, Yasmin Rasyid, said, “We are looking forward to partnering and teaming up with more industry players such as commercial institutions to deliver more of the same program. The November-December school holidays are quite a busy time for everyone especially for parents who are juggling their work and family routine with their children on a long break. For the PPR community, it’s even more important to ensure that their children’s time is spent productively and healthily.”

The River Explorer Program is currently looking for donors who are keen to upscale the program to benefit more children in the Klang Valley. Alternatively communities are also encouraged to organize the program with EcoKnights with a minimum of 10 children in a program at a rate of RM55 inclusive of materials.
