On April 8th, EcoKnights’ crew had an awesome day out at the Multimedia University of Cyberjaya for the Green Carnival 2.0. The fun-filled day was full of entertaining activities, not only from EcoKnights’ booth but also from other exhibitors.
The 2-day carnival was part of the MMU’s Green Club annual event before the end of their semester. EcoKnights joined the Green Carnival 2.0 with the mindset of encouraging the students and staff of MMU to participate and expose themselves in green activities.
EcoKnights’ crew had a blast in promoting future events such as Anugerah Hijau (more info at http://www.anugerahhijau.my/), KLEFF 2015 (http://www.ecofilmfest.my/), forum and panel discussion to-be-happened on April 22nd called “Corporate Leadership: The Battle of the Big Ideas for Sustainability” organized by EcoKnights (anyone interested can register at: http://ecoknights.org.my/CLF).
Although the crowd for the carnival was not huge, EcoKnights was still amazed by the hard work and efforts of the MMU students, especially those in the Green Club, in promoting and throwing an event as big as the Green Carnival 2.0.
“Felt glad and inspired to see a multimedia based university putting in effort and sincerity to promote environment education and awareness to campus community and, be part of it!” said Jeanne, part of EcoKnights’ crew that was present during the Green Carnival 2.0.
The carnival was also a good place for EcoKnights to make friends and connect with other exhibitors such as Biji-Biji and GreenPeace Malaysia, as well as share stories, and express same interests with each other. Since the carnival was only in its second year, EcoKnights sincerely hoped that the Green Carnival will blossom with more fun and engaging activities in addition to attention from the public not only from MMU, and will have its continuation in Green Carnival 3.0.
