Did you know that it takes 300L of water to make 1 L of beer?
Did you know that it takes 207 mega-Joules of energy to make 100 liters of beer? That's about 0.2 kilowatt-hours per bottle, or enough energy to run your 40 inch Energy Star TV for 3 hours and 20 minutes.
But that won't make you quit having that occasional drink. So how do you balance your love for some drinks and be sustainable? We've got this amazing talk and workshop session (FOR FREE) which you may wanna check out.
In conjunction with Earth Hour (March 28th 2015) celebrations in Publika, EcoKnights together with the world famous, The Thirsty Blogger Deepak Gill, will be hosting a one hour session on how to make your own cider from apple juice (especially if you have some apple or pear juice that's about to expire).
No need to sign up, just show up.
Things to bring: A sober mind, and a notepad and pen (in case you need his autography, and oh yes, to write down the procedure of DIY cider making).
