EPSON MALAYSIA & ECOKNIGHTS – BE A COOL HERO FOR A GREENER ENVIRONMENT

On 25th November 2021 (Thursday), EcoKnights had successfully conducted a tree planting event under the Tree-for-Us program at Bandar Tasik Selatan. The program is supported by Epson Malaysia, in partnership with Landscape and Recreation Development Department, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (Jabatan Pembangunan Landskap dan Rekreasi, Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur). In an effort to support the national 100 million tree planting initiative, the program had contributed 20 Salam trees (Syzygium polyanthum) planted on the event day.

The EcoKnights Tree-for-Us program is a joint effort that aligns with Epson’s Be Cool campaign to reduce climate impacts by restoring the environment through tree planting. An informative briefing was given by the Deputy Director of JPLR, DBKL on ways to plant trees in a correct manner, as well as the maintenance work, which are one of the core components in EcoKnights’ mission in ensuring environmental sustainability.
