EcoKnights®

13 May, 2012, Sri Kembangan - EcoKnights together with six other green vendors participated in the f3 Capital recycling initiative held at Sri Kembangan over this weekend.

This event is geared to encourage communities around the Sri Kembang area to recycle at the f3 Capital's new development venue. Several green vendors promoted their eco-friendly products and services from hand-made chemical-free soap to fresh organic produce. EcoKnights took the opportunity to fundraise through the sales of its latest EcoKnights tee shirts.

Free personal pizzas were distributed to all who came to the event to drop off their recyclable items. The recyclable items were in turn managed and handled by Pertubuhan Amal Kitar Semula Bumi Hijau and will be sorted and recycled accordingly.

This is the second time EcoKnights is working with a real estate developer such as f3 Capital and the idea of EK's participation is to inculcate a sense of community and responsibility towards environmental issues such as recycling in new properties. EcoKnights feel that a sustainable developer needs to have the passion and sense to engage local communities and to benefit the communities via space and infrstructure and in this case, for something urgent which is recycling.

EcoKnights looks forward to more meaningful events with f3 Capital and hope that f3 Capital would incorporate more sustainable values throughout all phases of construction, before and after.
