EcoKnights®

Akzo Nobel and Dulux have been amazin partners in spreading the word out on the need to be aware of proper paint disposal. Through the EcoKnights Paint Back, Give Back campaign , recycled and unused paint from the general public were collected in selected TESCO outlets and sent for recycling. In return, four underprivileged homes were the beneficiaries of these paint. Thank you Dulux for bringing colors to our lives here in EcoKnights and to the lives of othhers.

CIMB Community is the official financial supporter for EcoKnights' Anugerah Hijau programme. In it's second year (2010), this programme is designed to reward schools and students on their green efforts. For more information about this programme, please log on to www.anugerahhijau.my . 

Hitz.fm and Xfresh.fm from AMP Networks were the official radio broadcasters for the Eco Film Fest 2008 whitook placech  on November 1st and 2nd at the National Arts Academy (ASWRA) showcasing local environmental films and the premier screening of award-winning foreign environmental films such as Kilowatt Ours, The Crude Awakening and Who Killed the Electric Car

 

The original crusaders for the environment, Octagon Consolidated Berhad has been in the business of converting waste to energy for many years with plants that break down organic wastes, medical wastes and even waste tyres to its raw components, before exporting it out to other countries. They are in the forefront of green technology and has over the years, been contributing a lot of offsetting carbon for big industry players.Octagon Consolidated was the MAIN sponsor of the Eco Film fest 2008.

CIMB Islamic, through EcoSave their first paperless and green bank account, has been very supportive of EcoKnights' green efforts and have very kindly contributed Eco Save accounts to all the finalists of the Eco Film Fest 2008. To the team Peter England, Kenneth Wong and Alvin Lim, EcoKnights gives a big thank you to you.CIMB Islamic also supported the final league of the Eco Film Fest 2009 last year.

UM Cares, the Green Movement of University Malaya, through the guidance and support of Dr Zeeda and Prof Aziz has been very supportive in EcoKnights' green initiatives. From film screenings to UM citizens to the organisation of Eco Film Fest 2010,UM Cares has given us a good head start to work together and towards the same cause. 

DiGi is one of EcoKnights' green partners in this year's Eco Film Festival 2010 . They have been really strong in supporting our efforts since 2008 and together, we are working on some really creative and cool platforms to educate Malaysian youths of today. We are also proud t be associated with DiGi's Deep Green efforts and together, will crusade for a better environment with the Yellow Army. 

KeTTHA, the Ministry of Green Technology, Water and Energy recently endorsed the Eco Film Festival as one of the key local green events in support of education and awareness through films. As a new Ministry, EcoKnights is currently working with them on establishing a new green web-based channel as a communication tool to educate Malaysians - young and old - on the need to protect our natural environment. 

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) is one of the Eco Film Festival's biggest supporter. Sponsoring the Festival in 2008 and 2010, NRE is spearheading efforts to reach out to as many people as possible via various creative outlets to engage Malaysians from all walks of life.
